So, I own two desktop computers sitting around and i know how today they have close to duo processors and duo graphic cards and things approaching that to share the work is it possible for me to connect these two desktops in a method to make them 1?
How can i turn my two desktops into one shared desktop.?
There is a passageway to do that, but needless to speak, it isn't user friendly. It is called 'load balancing' and is typically associated beside Windows Server 2003 and variations of Linux. If you looked-for a major powerhouse resembling the server clusters that any huge corporation uses, you'd need like mad of experience and education, and some expensive software to do it. In your shield, its hardly worth it. What you could do is provide one of the computers and upgrade the other. :)
No, not really, unless you're doing something like experimental processing that's designed to spread the work out over multiple computers, which is a lot more troublesome than simply between two CPUs on the same system. Communicating between two computers is thousands of times slower than inside of the computer, so it's in fact pretty tricky to make it work right.
You could hook them up side-by-side and use something close to Synergy to control both of them with one keyboard/mouse, although they'd still be separate.
