you can format the sturdy disk using windows installation disk
you could use your reclamation cd's or use the disk manager tool surrounded by windows
travel to DOS then type format C:
You do not format the computer but its tricky disk. If you are using win 98 or XP , click start -) run , give command cmd next to whcih dos command will open, present command format : drive name c or d and press enter :the given drive will be formatted. Format will erase adjectives the existing data from your disk.
create a bootable floppy disk and after booting from floppy disk u can format the disk

OR

you can format the firm disk using windows installation disk
U can format ur PC by the following road.

get a bootable compact disc, in which some software r avilable close to windows 98 , xp , vista, Disk mannager and so on ,

insert this Cd surrounded by it run ur PC from CD, when it go to Ms dos mode , write down there format c:

if u insert xp cd u'll find other type of setting ,

u can follow these step smoothly.

If u want help on formating Hard Disk please ask. u are meet.
click on mycomputer icon...wil open out drives C , D ,E drives just right click mouse ...click on Format.. consequently ok

for each drive u can follow similar to this...but dont do for C drive in this O.S near . .
