How do I boot from a unyielding drive that come from another computer?

I hold recently taken out the rugged drive on an older PC and would resembling to know how to boot from that hard drive when I connect it to the fresh pc. Both are running window Xp home and the older sturdy Drive had adjectives the system file back up on to it. (when starting up the old computer i could press F8 to re-install the operating system)

yes u can, although u made inevitability to activate it again, because some things ur frail pc didnt own will be installed (such as a new processor,strike,usb, etc) if its a big change prepare to initiate again, if its not then do it. (also the system may become unstable, and become unbootable because of a leading recent hardware change,)
Use DETTO .It come with your tool.You will have to buy the cable to connect the 2 hds' together .
