How come INTEL or AMD don't create motherboards for consumers that can bar 64GB RAM instead of 4GB?

cuz right immediately I only see 4GB run into max.

How come INTEL or AMD don't create motherboards for consumers that can bar 64GB RAM instead of 4GB?

64GB of RAM is impractical.

People only just use 2GB, and 1GB cost about $100.
Here is one that will fiddle with 32GB:http://www.newegg.com/product/product.as... having more than 4GB is terribly unpractical at the moment, hence not much reason to sort any that support 64GB, you won't need that much for several years.
they dont variety them becuase people dont call for that much memory
Consumers don't use that much, maybe 4gb max. Windows XP 32-bit can individual handle 4gb anyway. The 64gb motherboards are on the server side (they inevitability memory to run a bunch of users connected to it).
