Hey, Big time noobe here,
I would approaching to know what the bigger size I can go to.
Right of in a minute. Its running a AMD XP 1500+ I'm seeing out there close to the 3000 and things like that. I want to progress bigger so I can build this the most as I can. But I got the AMD XP do to its small and I be not sure how big I can go. not sure and cant relay what MOTHERBOARD I'm useing. Is there a path like of looking on my computer to see what board I'm running?
How can I let somebody know whats how big can my CPU hold I enjoy a AMD right very soon contained by it.?
There is in a minute way to detail without the motherboard that you are using. The best approach to upgrade is to take your computer if you are unsure how to is to move about to your local store and get an upgrade utensils. You will get a different motherboard, CPU, more ram, and a better graphics card if you want one, you save all of you ancient drives so that your data does not draw from touched. It is heaps cheaper than getting a new computer and it will be approaching buying a new computer.
look at the motherboard, in attendance will be a model number on it, like k6vn7 or such. google it. most motherboards (mobo) enjoy a chipset standard and the same mobo can come from several manufacturer.
as for upgrading, it all depends on what socket your cpu is (what type fits the MOBO) most newer desktops are so cheap, an upgrade on a system over 3-4 yrs. antediluvian is a waste.
if you enjoy a gateway, dell, etc.. ask the manufacturer.
Is it a computer from Dell or any of those manufacturer? If it's not, open up your computer and the first name of the board should be on the thing itself. YOU WILL HAVE TO REINSTALL YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM IF YOU GET A NEW MOTHERBOARD.
