how can I let somebody know if my processor is a 64bit? 64 or 32?

I hold a AMD Sempron Processor 2800+ Model 12

How can I tell if it is 32 bit or 64 bit

how can I let somebody know if my processor is a 64bit? 64 or 32?

Actually some newer Semprons can support 64-bit.

If you know the bit number on your CPU you can look it up or if you can gather ample information from a reporting tool such as cpu-z, then you can enter it here.

CPU-Z can be found here

walk into the system tools on start menu and go to system information. it should relate you on the first page.
I believe that all semprons are 32 bit. Also if you are not running a 64 bit operating system your processor will not run contained by 64 bit mode.
Try using cpuZ, the handy utility that identifies a CPU, tell you all the cool features, and even tell you if it supports x86-64 extensions (64bit)...
