How can I remove pictures contained by the wallpaper tab surrounded by the Display Properties within Windows XP?

XP doesn't own a "wallpaper" tab. If you do, you are probably running something beyond the normal XP and this might not work.

If you suggest the background enumerate under the display tab, it is picking up the chief wallpapers from the C:/Windows folder and it may also be looking in your My Pictures folder. Create a exotic folder and move the pictures you want to save but don't want as wallpaper option to that folder.
Remove them from their current location and move to a different file, or drive.
