How can I remove my Windows Partition?

Please Read:

I am trying to reformat my computer. I enjoy a Dell copy of Windows XP Home that came next to my computer. Everything went capably, till I tried to delete my C: NTFS partition through the Windows setup. It told me that the setup files be still on the drive and the partition couldn't be delete.

I tried to use an approach I used on my laptop several days ago, where I installed Win 2000 through a floppy drive and later upgraded to XP. This process didn't use my C: drive for setup files. The only problem is, my desktop that I am in a minute formatting doesn't have a floppy disk drive.

Is here anyway to safely remove my window partition, or somehow reroute these setup files to another drive?

If you are trying to wipe out the in one piece computer then you want to put contained by the windows cd and restart the computer and boot from the cd-rom. You can not format the c: drive from inside the operating system. If you can not boot from the cd drive consequently a BIOS setting needs to be set. IM me at mzydorczyk(@yahoo.com) on yahoo if you stipulation more help
